First year in business. We’re delighted to be in a position where we’re on track to double turnover this year after a very successful first 12 months. In celebration of this great achievement, and to say thank you to our customers, we will be offering a free place on one of our courses to entrepreneurs and start-up businesses each month.
For those of you who don’t know, our business, which is led by directors Marc Davis, Dave Hall, Jon Palmer and Stuart Thompson, began trading in March 2018 and has so far delivered more than 70 courses nationwide, training more than 1,500 delegates.
Our courses cater for managers, directors, chief executives, board members and other senior leaders from the public, private and third sectors.
We have now grown our workforce to 20 and there are plans to recruit further to meet increasing demand for our services.
All of our courses are run in conjunction with academic and professional partners, including the University of Chester, the University of York, the Chartered Management Institute and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Courses, which run for between one and five days, focus on helping delegates to improve their skills and to equip them with the practical tools and strategies to enhance their own performance and that of their organisations.
Topics covered include leadership and negotiation skills, corporate governance, strategic planning and advice, coaching and mentoring, digital marketing, finance and the role of directors and the board.
We currently deliver courses in Manchester, Chester, Birmingham and London, and plan to expand into other cities in the coming months.
We have also created Executive Mini MBA and Directors Development programmes, which are accredited by the University of Chester and lead to Postgraduate Certificates in business administration and strategic leadership in business.
Dave Hall says the success of these innovative programmes has been a key factor in the company’s rapid expansion.
He added: “With a senior team who have decades of experience in executive education, we hit the ground running in 2018 and we are building on our strong first-year performance to accelerate growth during this financial year.
“Working with a range of academic partners and institutions to deliver courses of the highest standard, we are making a difference and having a real impact on people’s future development and careers and the performance of their organisations.
“Our understanding and appreciation of the demands on senior leaders means our courses deliver maximum return for a minimum investment of time and cost, and the feedback we receive from delegates is outstanding.
“This year we are expanding our course portfolio and geographical reach to offer a premium learning experience to increasing numbers of delegates.

Through free attendance on our courses delegates will gain the skills and tools to transform their business.

- Third or Charity sector
- Businesses that are less than 3 years old or turn over less than £1m
