Company Overview
The Ministry of Justice is a major government department, at the heart of the justice system. They work to protect and advance the principles of justice. Their vision is to deliver a world-class justice system that works for everyone in society.
The Learning Objectives and Challenges
Within the resourcing spaces Ministry of Justice are in the process of expanding their project team to take on more complex projects across the department. This project team is with limited project management principles and governance to drive it forward. Matthew's role is to establish key principles, products and governance on how this team will work together and drive the projects within its remit forward. His primary motivation for attending this course was to start to develop his understanding of key Agile management and project management principles that he could build on and start to embed into this team.
The Learning Experience
Overall, the course was an excellent introduction to concepts. Matthew found that the tutor was excellent, and he was very engaging and did a good job of breaking down complex models into very quick and easy to grasp concepts.
How Has Your Training Benefited You So Far?
Matthew has started to utilise and embed some of the key Agile project management principles and methodology into the way that the Ministry of Justice Resourcing delivers projects.
