SE Controls

Lee Webster is a Technical Manager for SE Controls.

SE Controls is a British automation company based in Lichfield. SE Controls specialise in the manufacturing, installation and aftercare of smoke ventilation products such as actuators, switches and sensors, louvres, vents and AOVs, extractor fans, controls and digital products.

Lee Webster was expecting a role change within the business that he works for, and therefore he enrolled on our Directors Development Programme – Finance for Non Finance Directors in order to learn essential director level skills.

Lee attended our training course in a face to face learning environment in Manchester. Lee found that the course tutor always kept the group of delegates engaged throughout the course. He found that the tutor was always happy to spin off and answer questions from the group. He also offered to follow up and to go over further points of interest and questions after the course. Overall, Lee found both the tutor and the course to be a beneficial learning experience.

Lee found the teaching points about Companies House records and formatting to be particularly useful for his role. He has found the explanation of terminology on the course and the course handout to look back on have greatly benefitted him within his role. Lee would recommend this course to others and he is also looking at other Director training courses from In Professional Development to further his knowledge and skills prior to his role change.
