The WWF is an international non profit and non governmental organisation focusing on wilderness preservation and the reduction of the human impact on wildlife. Founded in Switzerland in 1961, the WWF has been raising awareness for the preservation of wildlife and the environment for over 60 years
The Learning Objectives and Challenges
One of Marion's objectives in attending the programme was to learn from other people on the course who work in other fields. By listening to others on the programme who work for different companies and within different industries, they approach situations differently. Marion found it useful to learn from the experiences of others and it gave her different perspectives to approach situations.
The Learning Experience
Marion found the Strategic Approaches to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Programme to be very useful. She found the tutor to be extremely prepared, enagaging and constructive. Marion thought that the tutor timed and paced the course well. Marion noted that the tutor was an expert in her work and that she was able to give considered and informative responses to work scenarios. She found this to be very useful to her role.

Marion found the content of the programme, the group learning format, learning from the experiences and backgrounds of others, and the pace of the programme to be very beneficial to her learning.
