The Role of the Non-Executive Directors is a member of the Board of Directors, who does not form part of the executive management of a business. Under company law, there is no legal distinction between Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors. NEDs usually stand back from the day-to-day running of the business. NEDs have the same legal duties, responsibilities and potential liabilities as the Executive.

The Non-Executive Directors’ Development Programme is an intense 5 day programme, which has been developed to support and provide leaders with the knowledge and skills to be a high performing Non-Executive Director, preparing them for the demands and challenges that they face every-day.

This fast track, well-structured and intense programme, provides an outstanding personal development opportunity. The Programme gives a detailed understanding and up to date knowledge of the role of the Non-Executive Director and the Board, leadership, corporate strategy, finance and crucially, organisational governance. It offers the maximum personal and business benefit from a minimum investment.
