New InPD Programmes to Help UK Executives Meet Pandemic Challenges

New In Professional Development Programmes to Help UK Executives Meet Pandemic Challenges

A series of new courses designed to help UK executives meet challenges triggered by the pandemic has been unveiled by leadership and management training company In Professional Development.

InPD is launching three-day programmes addressing topics such as leading and managing teams remotely, workforce wellbeing and resilience, equality, diversion and inclusion, and strategic decision-making and problem-solving.

The four courses will be run virtually and are being introduced to meet demand from executives, directors, managers, team leaders, heads of departments and business owners.

They are aimed at the public, private and non-profit sectors as senior leaders look to respond to changing work patterns, job roles and the needs of their businesses and organisations.

InPD director Dave Hall said: “The past 12 months have been like no other, and we fully appreciate how companies and organisations have been experiencing very challenging times.

“As a business working with senior executives, we’re always listening to the issues and changing demands that they are facing.

“It’s important that we support them by providing training that equips and prepares them and their senior staff to meet these challenges head-on. As a result, we have launched a number of accredited and non-accredited courses.”

He added: “The global pandemic has accelerated the pace of organisational change, and the new courses tackle many of the important considerations which are crucial to business right now, such as mental health, diversity and inclusion, and how to build and lead remote teams.

“The courses provide some of the latest thinking on these topics and offer the perfect opportunity for learners to access leading experts for in-depth support and to give them the skills and knowledge to better themselves to achieve their business and personal goals.”

The new courses will centre on leading and managing teams remotely, strategic wellbeing and resilience, strategic decision-making and problem-solving, and strategic approaches to equality, diversion and inclusion.

Dave said: “Businesses and organisations realise they need to prepare for the realities of the ‘new normal’.

“Virtual ways of working, the need to look after the wellbeing of staff and build resilience to ensure a brighter future have never been more vital.

“Our programmes will help senior leaders to successfully adapt to the new realities and establish sustainable, long-term best practice by equipping them with the necessary skills and outlook to thrive.”

Delegates who successfully complete the new courses will receive a recognised Chartered Management Institute Level 7 qualification.

Wigan-based InPD has successfully adapted its business during the pandemic by switching to virtual courses and by setting up a specialist division offering bespoke programmes to businesses and organisations across the UK and internationally.

This Press Release has also been published by Employer News and West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce.
