In Professional Development’s Beginnings In Professional Development is founded in Wigan, Greater Manchester by David Hall, Jonathan Palmer, Stuart Thompson, and Marc Davis.

June 2018

New Partnerships Lift Off The Executive Mini MBA Accelerator is run in partnership with the University of Chester for the first time.

June 2019

In Professional Development becomes a fully approved Chartered Management Institute (CMI) centre of its own right. They go on to deliver CMI programmes to major organisations in the private sector, including the English Football League and American Express, as well as the public sector, such as the NHS.

September 2019

In Professional Development partners with the University of East London to deliver the Advanced Management Programme, the Strategic Leadership Programme, and the Higher Education Leadership Programme.

Growing Through Recognition - September 2019

In Professional Development wins Newcomer of The Year at the City of Manchester Business Awards, demonstrating their trusted reputation as a brand.

November 2019

Solidifying the success of their first year and a half of business, In Professional Development is shortlisted at the Wigan Business Awards.

April 2020

The launch of In Professional Development’s virtual classroom allows for hundreds of delegates to complete development programmes from any location of their choice.

May 2022

After signing The Armed Forces Covenant earlier in the year, In Professional Development becomes a corporate fundraising partner of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) and are rewarded with a bronze award for their community support.
