CMI Level 7 Certificate in Professional Consulting

Our Professional Consulting Programme – CMI Level 7 is meticulously designed for aspiring and established consultants seeking to master the complexities of modern consultancy. This programme provides a robust framework for critically evaluating the consultant’s role, encompassing ethical considerations, effective stakeholder engagement, and exemplary professional conduct. You will gain a deep understanding of diverse consultancy engagements and their strategic impact, learning to build trust and credibility within the crucial consultant-client relationship. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, you’ll develop compelling proposals that articulate clear value propositions and strategic recommendations, setting you apart in a competitive landscape.

The programme’s comprehensive agenda guides you from foundational principles to advanced application. Day one, “Professional Consultancy in Practice,” delves into defining the consultant’s role, navigating contemporary challenges, and understanding ethical considerations through real-life scenarios. Moving into “Consulting in a Commercial Context” on day two, you’ll cultivate a commercial mindset, learn to influence decisions by asking pertinent questions, and gain insights into crafting effective tender responses and negotiation strategies, all reinforced through simulations and feedback.

Finally, “Consulting Methods and Skills” on day three equips you with evidence-based research techniques, conceptual models for problem-solving, and skills in change management and workshop facilitation. The programme culminates on day four with “Bringing it Together,” where you will synthesise your learning to develop and present a real-world consultancy proposal, receive peer feedback, and create a personal action plan for your ongoing professional development and CMI qualification completion. This holistic approach ensures you not only understand the theory but can confidently apply it to drive tangible results and secure your position as a top-tier consultant.
