This programme is for you if you are looking to progress to Chartered Manager status, gaining the recognition of your management experience to get those letters CMgr after your name. This internationally recognised accreditation is the highest accolade in management and leadership and is only available with CMI.

The Chartered Manager Programme covers the requirements of CMI’s The Professional Standard Wheel through a three-day programme providing the modern tools & techniques required of managers in today’s world.

Each day is designed to support learners application for Chartered Manager status as well as developing leadership fundamentals to succeed in today’s competitive business environment. This enables participants to progress through the Chartered Manager application process, supported by a mentor, running through the CMI Management Diagnostic Tool, reviewing your CMI CMgr application and support prior to your assessment interview for CMgr status.

On completion of this programme, delegates will:

During the programme participants will apply the CMI Management Diagnostic Tool and have the chance to review the application with the tutor, including the assessment interview.

CMgr status

*on going continuous professional development and an annual fee is required to maintain CMgr status following successful application.

To be eligible to apply for Chartered Manager status you need to either have:

  • A degree-level qualification in management, business, or leadership subject, plus at least 3 years’ experience in a management role.

Or

  • Currently working in a middle/senior management role, and have at least 5 years management experience
