Working in partnership with the University’s industry-connected faculties, we deliver flexible postgraduate qualifications that are validated by the University of Derby, combining academic excellence with real-world application.

Following completion of the Executive Leadership Programme, learners can opt to continue their studies with a dual certification on completion of successful assessment participants will be awarded a Post Graduate Certificate (PG Cert) in Executive Leadership from the University of Derby, together with a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice.

This is a level 7 postgraduate qualification which sits between an undergraduate degree and a masters and can be utilised as credits towards a MBA.

A highly flexible programme to work around individuals, with rolling entry points throughout the year.

Qualification can be achieved within 7 months of starting the PG Cert journey.

Dedicated one-to-one support from our team of highly experienced academic supervisors, plus additional support from the Quality Assurance Team here at In Professional Development.

Focus on work-based learning. Assessments can all be applied to the business situation/workplace, giving both the student and the wider organisation a chance to learn and adapt business practice.

The programme is made up of three assessment modules:

Module 1 Leadership for the Future

Module 2 Business Model Design

Module 3 Innovation and Analytics for Strategic Decision Making

Achieving a PG Cert allows individuals to list the qualification as part of their credentials.

This is also an excellent route into studying a full masters with the University of Derby. The Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Leadership is mapped directly onto the full MBA that is offered by the university.

The assessment methods for this programme have been designed with busy executives in mind, with module 1 and module 3 assessments part completed whilst on the programme, reducing the requirement for written assignments.
