Leadership and Management Course – Bell Group

What challenge were you looking to address?

We were part of the Rising Star initiative, aimed at equipping emerging leaders like myself and my colleague Matt with the necessary skills and tools to grow and eventually operate at a strategic level within the company. The objective was to become more well-rounded managers and leaders who can effectively drive the business forward.

“I feel genuinely grateful that someone invested in my future and my knowledge.”

What was the solution you opted for?

“We enrolled in the Leadership and Management Course. It was a comprehensive programme that not only focused on leadership development but also delved into selfawareness and conflict management areas that I hadn’t anticipated but found incredibly valuable.”

“The self-awareness aspect of the training was transformative – it made me look at myself and how I handle situations.”

What was the approach to the training?

The training took a very practical and reflective approach, emphasizing self-awareness and objective thinking. It encouraged us to look at ourselves and identify areas for personal growth, while also teaching us effective ways to manage conflict and understand different management models. The sessions were evidence-based, aligning theory with practical examples that we could relate to and implement in our roles.

“The conflict management segment was a game changer; it taught me how to stay neutral and handle different personalities effectively.”

What value did INPD bring?

INPD brought immense value by delivering a comprehensive training program that was insightful, thought-provoking, and incredibly relevant to our roles. The training wasn’t just about leadership theories; it focused on how to apply those theories in real-world scenarios. We truly appreciated the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain practical, evidence-backed insights that have helped us grow as leaders.

“Seeing the evidence behind management models made me realise that leadership principles are timeless.”

What were the 3 key takeaways that the training impacted you and your organisation?

  1. Self-awareness – The course prompted me to look inward and reflect on how I approach challenges and conflicts, making me a more effective leader.
  2. Conflict Management – Learning to stay neutral, remain objective, and handle hot-headed personalities was invaluable.
  3. Evidence-Based Management – The emphasis on management models, backed by decades of research, helped me understand that effective leadership is a process and that many of the principles remain constant across time.

“If you’re considering it, do it – you won’t regret it.”
