What challenge were you looking to address?

I wanted to understand the current thinking around leading neurodiversity in the workplace and to get some structured methodology for implementing it effectively. Although I was already familiar with the content and theory, I needed a more formalised approach to help me embed the knowledge within organisations.

“The course was excellent – the standard of teaching was really high, and the environment created was incredibly inclusive.”

What was the solution you opted for?

I chose INPD’s ‘Leading Neurodiversity in the Workplace’ course because it offered a structured framework and methodology that I could apply within businesses. The course promised not only comprehensive content but also a learning environment where we could share insights and practical applications.

“The trainer was everything – Zara was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely interested in our perspectives.”

What was the approach to the training?

The training was extremely well-structured and facilitated in a way that encouraged open discussion and learning from both the tutor and other participants. The inclusive learning environment was particularly impactful, allowing us to reflect on how to create such spaces within our own work.

“It’s about untapped potential – creating inclusive spaces allows people to redirect their energy towards productivity, not just fitting in.”

What value did INPD bring?

The course was incredibly valuable because it provided a structured framework for leading neurodiversity that I could immediately apply. The trainer, Zara, was exceptionally knowledgeable and created a safe, open environment for learning. This enabled us to engage deeply with the content and gain practical, actionable insights.

“My biggest takeaway? Focus on outcomes – everyone has different ways of working, but it’s the end result that counts.”

What were the 3 key takeaways that the training impacted you and your organisation?

  1. Focus on outcomes: It’s less about how people get there and more about the results they achieve.
  2. Include everyone in the journey: Educate and learn from all neurotypes to drive meaningful change.
  3. Lead with empathy: Mistakes will happen, but showing authentic curiosity and compassion can significantly impact how well changes are received and embedded.

“Learning from others in the room was invaluable – it wasn’t just about the content, but about embedding the learning in a real-world context.”
