This qualification is aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.

This qualification will:

  • Allow you to develop the skills needed to lead and manage individuals and teams.
  • Provide you with a broader knowledge of skills to help you be more effective in specific management areas.

Delegates will be required to complete one 3000 – 4000 word assignment that requires taught theory to be applied to the organisational context.

As part of opting to complete the qualification you will be registered with the CMI and be given access to a wealth of online learning resources through their Management Direct website. You will also be given free and unlimited access to post-classroom tutorials. These are organised monthly and run by CMI qualified tutors to help guide learners through the assignment writing phase.

Diversity and Inclusion Management Course – CMI Level 5

This qualification is designed for individuals wishing to develop strategic management and leadership practice who will have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to drive business activities in a senior, regional, specialist, director or CEO management and leadership role. This qualification requires senior and aspiring senior leaders to build on their skills in strategic management and leadership and to focus on the requirements of inter-organisational strategy.

This qualification will:

  • Help you to develop the professionalism to deliver impact and behave ethically.
  • Enable you to demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and development.

This qualification will:

  • Provide you with the opportunity to critically assess your organisation to remove structural inequality both within an organisational and a social context.
  • Allow you to develop an understanding of approaches to comply with legal and good practice around the influence of equality, diversity and inclusion within your organisation
  • Give you the opportunity to develop strategic priorities for equality, diversity and inclusion.

Courses leading towards the Level 7 Certificate in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring

Leadership Coaching and Mentoring Development Programme – CMI Level 7

The CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership is designed for directors and senior managers who have the authority and personal inspiration to translate organisational strategy into effective performance.

This qualification requires senior and aspiring senior leaders to build on their skills in strategic management and leadership and to focus on the requirements of inter-organisational strategy. You will be required to take the theory, thought leadership and research discussed on the programme, and implement it in your professional life by focusing on your own leadership development, and positively challenging organisational strategy.

You are required to complete two 3,500 – 4,000-word written assignments that require taught theory to be applied to the organisational context. We have several pre-made programmes for you to achieve this:

It is also possible to create a more personalised Programme. Here at InPD we offer a selection of Award qualifications with one assignment. A combination of two of these programmes would equal a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership. You are required to select two programmes with different assignments.
